Campers & Staff are all safely loaded on the coach. The smiles are because they’re looking forward to see parents – not because they’re happy to leave. The staff left behind are smiling, but only because the kettle is on.

In a website exclusive, I can reveal that the winner of the Dave Buckell Trophy at Camp 2011 is: James Coward. Just a few years ago he was Best Camper, and last year he was ‘porridge boy’ but has risen up to ‘proper’ Cook – and he’s done an amazing job! Mmmmmmmm…
