Finding the ‘public link’: When you are viewing your album on Facebook, you will see a “public link” at the bottom of the page. Sending this link to friends or posting it on a website will allow everyone who clicks on it to view that album.

Camp 2008 Photos

I’ve been busy uploading and tagging almost 300 photos from this year’s Camp.  There are now almost 1000 online and available for you to view. They represent a wide range of situations and activities from the last six years at Camp.

Each of the pictures should be tagged to identify the people in the shot, the place it was taken, and the activity taking place at the time. So if you want to see all the photos of Plum Duff Parade you can view the “Plum Duff Parade” tag, the same applies to “Sports Day“. Or if you want to see all the photos of Jonny you can view the “Jonny” tag – and if you want to view all the photos from Camp 2008, you now know what to do. If you have Camp photos that you’d like to add, sign up for a free account at Flickr and apply to join the MK Camp group.

I hope that we’ll be able to add some updates soon with links to pictures on Facebook too.

Getting in the mood

Getting in the mood
Now this is more like camp weather.

Most of the staff are heading off to Camp tomorrow morning so please pray for safe travel and plenty of energy and enthusiasm as we set-up the site. We can’t promise good weather (although the next two weeks in Exmouth look pretty good!) but we do promise a fantastic time whatever the weather.

Don’t forget that we’ll be doing our best to post pictures and short updates to the website whilst we’re away, so keep checking back to see what we’re getting up to on the Advance Party, and encourage your friends and parents to check www.mk-camp.com regularly.  You never know, they might just see a picture of you!

See you in Exmouth on Monday!

Information for First Timers

We are really pleased that again this year we have a number of first timers joining us at Camp again this year.

We have a page of information specifically for those who haven’t been to Camp before.  In the past we have published further information which may be of use, but which is now hidden in the archives (which you can access from the right column).  So to help everyone out here are some of those articles:

Whilst it is your responsibility to keep in touch with family and friends back home, they can stay in touch with what you’re getting up to at Camp by visiting the website.  We do our best to post photos and short updates to the websites whilst we’re away – so be sure to pass the website address onto them – and of course you get to enjoy the updates once we all get back.

As ever though, if you still have questions that you’d like to see answered here please let us know.
