Baby News

Junior at CampIt’s been a long time coming – but Sam Hall finally gave birth to a very bouncy baby boy yesterday morning at 6:14. He weighed in at a whopping 9lb 9oz! Congratulations to Sam and Andy (but especially Sam!). Everyone is doing well. The baby has no name at this stage – which is where you all come in…

Throughout Camp we referred to the ‘bump’ as Junior as they hadn’t selected a suitable name. I know how much Andy and Sam appreciated our ‘help’ as we offered suggestions, so I’d like to throw it open to you again to suggest a good name for the newest member of the Hall dynasty. Following on from Matthew – Mark would be the obvious suggestion!

I suggest Village, Town, Concert or possibly Carnegie.

Yeah I’d like to second ‘Carnegie’, although I think ‘Town’ would make an awesome middle name.

Or they could celebrate the 40th Birthday of Milton Keynes and call him ‘Middleton’.

In case Tim Rosier doesn’t offer a suggestion – I’d like to offer ‘Coffee’ on his behalf.

    Chris Bell suggested ‘Entrance’…

I’ll go with ‘Toad’ or ‘Coronation’ as my preferred choices.

    Hi.
We’re surprised no one has yet suggested James – Jim for short.

David thinks Sam could have held off another 18 hours so that the baby could have been born on the BB’s Founder’s Day.
( I have already given him a slap – Bev)

Thank you all for your suggestions, we will take all of them into account when we finally decide on his name, but i’m afraid that there will be some we don’t use (sorry Tim!).

I’d just like to take this opportunity to thank you all for your support (especially at Camp), Sam enjoyed a great 2 weeks away and it was made a whole lot more enjoyable with the support that you all gave her (whether you knew you were giving it or not).

As i write this Sam & my boy are still on MK General as Sam experienced some difficulties following th birth, but they seem to have disappeared now and she’ll be home in the next day or so.

Thanks again for all of your support and i’ll let you know when we have a name.

Andy & a very proud Dad.

  15. Andy & Sam says:

We have finally decided on the name for our fansastic son.

    Matthew James Mitch Hall

    Reasons:

Matthew: Means Gift of God and he is certainly that.
James: To take after his dads middle name
Mitch: To take after his mums Maiden name (Mitchell) – a little play on words, but we like it!

I’m sure that we will catch up with you all at some point, but in the meantime i need to get used to those sleepless nights!!

    Thanks again
A happy Mum & Dad (Sam & Andy).
